Questions & answers
Frequently asked.
When do enrolments open?
We run term-by-term enrolments throughout the year. Spaces are limited and offered to waitlist families first. Join the waitlist to hear about upcoming term dates as soon as they're announced.
What ages is Digging Spuds for?
We welcome children aged 4–10 years in a single mixed-age stream.
Where will it be located?
Digging Spuds Co-Op will be based in Roleystone, Western Australia.
Are you a school or education provider?
No. Digging Spuds is a small, family-run community co-op — not a school and not an education or care provider. Parents remain the primary guides for their children; the co-op is a shared space for hands-on, nature-based days together.
Do you follow the WA school term dates?
No — we run 4 terms of 10 weeks with a mid-term break, but our dates are deliberately offset from mainstream WA holidays.
How does pricing work?
Digging Spuds runs on term-by-term enrolments — families secure their child's place one 10-week term at a time. Spaces are intentionally limited to keep group sizes small and the family feel intact, so waitlist families are offered places first. Full term fees and payment options are shared with waitlist families ahead of each term opening.
